Sewoong Lee PhD

Se Woong Lee is an Associate Professor of Education Policy and Leadership at Southern Methodist University's Simmons School of Education and Human Development. His research examines education policy, school leadership, and educational equity, with a particular focus on rural schools and Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander students. His work has appeared in Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis, Educational Administration Quarterly, AERA Open, and Review of Educational Research. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and previously served as department chair of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at the University of Missouri. His research has been supported by Spencer Foundation Small and Large Research Grants, Russell Sage Foundation, and AERA Dissertation and Research Grants.
